The Fourth Annual Winnipeg International Film Festival (WIFF) - May 30th through June 7th, 2008 - is a nine-day non-profit summer festival, showcasing films of all lengths and genres from across the globe, while highlighting the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada - the geographic center of North America.

Winnipeg is a city alive with culture. From our historic downtown to our many music and theatre festivals, Winnipeg enjoys exciting events. Movies are no exception. An opportunity to experience world class films is so important to the city's movie lovers. Our inspiration, Winnipeg has its own b community of local filmmakers, screening their works at festivals worldwide; and Manitoba hosts a burgeoning film industry with over $100 million in production annually.
