Festival Overview
The MIAAC Film Festival will celebrate its 10th year this November. It is the most prestigious festival of Indian Independent, arthouse, alternate and diaspora films in North America.

History
Founded in the aftermath of 9/11 in response to an urgent plea by Mayor Guiliani to help revive New York City, the MIAAC Film Festival provides South Asian Independent & Diaspora filmmakers with an exclusive, quality platform to showcase their creative talents, builds an awareness of South Asian Independent & Diaspora films in North America, and actively encourages industry professionals to view, distribute, buy these films.
