To promote indipendent shorts and documentaries, e to produce 4 Instant movies with local actors in the days of festival.
Every year the festival purposes a theme (for example, in 2008 it was 'Adaptation', in 2009 'power')

Overllok Film Festivql started in 2006, like a show of short movies, without a jury. Since 2007 Festival purposed a National competition and ( sections: Short movies; Documentaries; under 21; Born twice; Instant movies).
In the jury were directors and actors like Vottorio Moroni, Pippo Delbono, Luca Lionello.

Since 2008 there were four awards of the values of 500 euros (Best Short; Best DOC; Best Under 21; Best instant movie).
Overlook's award is called 'Geco d'oro'.
