To promote up and coming film makers and to make shorts accessible to the general public
History
This is now the eight incarnation of the Angry Film Festival which has been running since 2005. The festival runs over two nights. One night is dedicated to Australian short films and the following night is dedicated to international films.
Awards
There are four trophies which will be awarded over the two nights for Best Film (OZ only), Best International Film, Best Director (OZ only) and Best Script (OZ only).
MOVIE EXTRA will be awarding $500 cash to BEST FILM. NPG PRODUCTIONS will award $200 to BEST SCRIPT and ABOVE AND BEYOND PRODUCTIONS will be awarding $200 to BEST DIRECTOR. MADMAN is sponsoring $300 worth of DVDS and SIREN VISUALS is sponsoring $150 worth of DVDs also to the finalists.
