25 FPS is looking for works that explore conceptual and technological possibilities of the medium; works that relate to the tradition of experimental and avant-garde film making in an innovative way; works that reveal new forms of the moving image.
Founded in 2005 with great jury members like Fred Camper, Peter Tscherkassky, Taka Iimura, Matthias Müller, Chris Shepherd and Marcel Jean; great retrospectives made by curators like Stefanie Schulte Strathauss (arsenal experimental; Forum Expanded at Berlinale) or Mark Webber (Shoot Shoot Shoot), and main Competition Program selected out of 1.300 works applied every year from more then 60 countries world wide.

Formats:Previews are excepted on DVD formats (both PAL/NTSC).
Works accepted for the screening in the Competition Program are Betacam SP, Digibeta, HDCAM (PAL!) + 16 mm and 35 mm film.
