Festival Overview

NYICFF was established in 1997 to promote the creation and dissemination of passionate, intelligent film and video for people ages 3-18. In 2005, we presented 92 new films, plus retrospectives, filmmaker Q&A's, workshops and the NYICFF Awards Ceremony to an audience of 20,000. Our jury includes Susan Sarandon, Gus Van Sant, James Schamus, Matthew Modine, Jeffrey Wright, and Adam Gopnik.
