The South West London International Film Festival (SWIFF) started in 2012 and is held once a year in late November for one day only. The festival gives people a chance to see films from all over the world screened in South West London. SWIFF Director, Lauentiu Huianu, said that this is a great opportunity for any aspiring or established film maker to have their film seen by a wide audience, including directors, actors, critics and film lovers.
A wide selection of international films are screened on the day including documentaries, fiction and animation. Interludes will be filled with music by different singers and bands during the afternoon and evening, including the amazing Colliers Wood International Ukulele Orchestra, who dazzle with their musical repertoire spanning different decades.

The films are followed by an award ceremony at 19:30 where directors are invited to come and collect their awards, including the overall winner who will be honoured with the Golden Leaf Award for Best Film. Then there is music and socialising.

SWIFF is an independent festival dedicated to providing a wonderful display of international films in South West London, all without sponsorship or donations. The festival is getting bigger and better every year.
So please show up in force to see a diverse, interesting, entertaining and fascinating range of British and international films, and also to mingle with directors, producers, actors and many others. Children are welcome.
The 7th edition of SWIFF will be held on Saturday 24th November 2018 at The Wheatsheaf, 2 Upper Tooting Road, London SW17 7PG
