Festival Overview

"Think Globally, Film Locally" is the theme for this year's event, which includes a moderated movie industry and filmmakers panels on April 7 in NYC, followed by the screening of the selected short films. The festival, which grew out a classroom project, has crystallized into a platform for burgeoning filmmakers, and provides real time project management experience for the school's media management students.

Awards

Beyond the screening of your short film at a New York City film festival, there will be other modest prizes to show our appreciation for and recognition of the filmmaker's participation. Recognition will be given to the three top entries scoring the highest by our professional industry jury panel in the festival and a prize for the top MCNY student submission.
