Festival Overview

IRISHFILMFESTA was created in 2007, and it is aimed at promoting Irish cinematography in Italy.

The festival, held at the Casa del Cinema di Roma, presents every year new Irish films and unedited classics. Besides the screenings, the programme includes presentations and meetings with Irish filmmakers and actors as well as debates and special events.

Supported by Culture Ireland, Irish Film Institute, the Irish Film Board, Tourism Ireland, Irish Embassy to Italy, the event is produced by the cultural association Archimedia. Creator and director of IRISHFILMFESTA is Susanna Pellis, Irish Cinema expert.
