Festival Overview

FAFF is dedicated to showing the finest films in the world about art and artists in their studios, collectors, galleries, museums, public art, and alternative art spaces. We'll have a red carpet opening night with celebrities and luminaries from the art and entertainment worlds, a special matinee screening on Sunday of a Hollywood classic film related to art, and a VIP closing night party at the theater. We'll be coordinating with major museums and galleries. Submit your film, and come visit the new western capital of the art world - Los Angeles/Southern California.

Eligibility:

Film subject matter should be related to the art world in some way, whether it be art and artists in their studios, collectors, galleries, museums, public art, and alternative art spaces or other art related subject.
Films should have been completed after January 2, 2014.
Please inform us if the film has premiered, been shown on the internet publicly, or broadcast previously. This will not disqualify a film.
Films must be submitted via private link.
Films must be submitted with proper documentation, including director/producer bios, contact information with email addresses and social media accounts, distributor information (if applicable) publicity materials such as poster/one sheet, 1-3 images from each film (please at least 150dpi for our catalog).
Short films are considered all films under 55 minutes.
Feature films are considered films 55 minutes and above.
