Festival Overview

Way Down Film Festival (WDFF) is back with the 2nd annual, high-profile
film festival in Columbus, GA. WDFF will showcase over 40 short films, celebrating the most innovative voices in narrative, animation, documentary, and experimental categories from all over the world.
Curated into 6 different thematic genre blocks, each screening will run 70-90
minutes and consist of varying short films. Viewed on a state-of-the-art projector with a pristine sound system, film screenings will take place on The Main Stage of the gorgeous, historic Springer Opera House.
Following each screening will be filmmaker Q&A’s, moderated by our soon-to-be announced celebrity emcee. Select filmmakers and our celebrity/industry judges will also be in attendance.
