Festival Overview

The International KidsNFilm Festival (Screening) celebrates both youth actors and filmmakers. It is an opportunity and forum for youth to showcase their work and express their creativity. Our main goal with Kids N Film has been to encourage self-esteem, confidence building, and creativity through on-camera and behind the scene production training.

Not only will selected youth filmmakers and actors from around the globe have the opportunity to have their films screened but it is a chance to interact with peers in attendance. It is your moment to talk about challenges, techniques, goals, or simply the fun had during the filmmaking process. It is a time to shine, inspire and show off your talent whether in front of the camera or behind the camera to California’s North Bay Area Community.

We welcome films that are fun, positive, with diverse backgrounds and ethnicities, and are entertaining, challenging or thought-provoking. Films submitted must be for a youth audience and family friendly. Films are chosen by a jury of youth, educators, and filmmakers, rating all entries on entertainment value, originality, acting ability, production value, and message conveyed.
