Festival Overview

The Cultural, Educational hub of India, today's Pune is buzzing with youthful energy. The audience are exposed to various kinds of films. This enriches their cinematic experience. All this makes it conducive and necessity to have a international platform.
Such a platform also gives an opportunity for audiences and filmmakers to interact.
Therefore the vision is to strike a rich cultural exchange with access to global cinema which will help young filmmakers in understanding how international audiences see it.
IIFF Pune is being organised by the Charitable non profit organisation - Vikas India Trust, whose mission is to cultivate and promote the art and science of film through education, audience participation and cross cultural cinema experience.
Our vision is to build strong sustainable and engaged audience for film and art that explore and promote issues of human development by promoting film to an ever widening audience as a powerful medium that inspires creativity, encourages introspection and compels exploration.

Eligibility:

1. In International Competition - the feature films made in any country, in any language of any genre with English subtitles. The duration of the film shall be between 75 - 150 Minutes.
2. In Indian Competition- the feature films made in any Indian languages of any genre with English subtitles. Duration shall be between 90 - 180 Minutes.
3. In Marathi Competition- the feature films made in Marathi language of any genre with English subtitles. Duration shall be between 90 - 180 Minutes.
