Festival Overview

Annecy is the international appointment for animation that brings together creators and decision-makers in one place.
Professionals, teachers and students in the fields of film, television and multimedia are entitled to accreditation.

The International Animation Film Festival and Mifa are aimed at professionals, but also animation fans, press, buyers, teachers and students in the fields of film, animation, television and multimedia with different accreditation options.

The International Animation Film Festival receives around 2,400 films each year. Over 200 of these are chosen for the official selection. Why not yours?

You can now submit your film (completed after 01/01/2014) for the official selection (in and out of competition), in the following categories:

short films
feature films*
commissioned films
TV series and specials
graduation films

15th February 2015 for short films, commissioned films, TV series and specials and graduation films;
15th March 2015 for feature films.

*Please note a change in the regulations for feature films: this year, only feature films that have not been commercially released in France before the beginning of the Festival, 15th June 2015, will be allowed to compete.
