Festival Overview

The San Francisco Independent Film Festival (SF IndieFest) is a 2 week long Festival featuring entertaining and informative narrative, documentary, animation, and alternative films. SF IndieFest's objective is to provide an opportunity for filmmakers to dream in public, eat, drink, schmooze, party, dance all night, and for you to meet interesting people from faraway places, have fun, and gamble on films you know nothing about. For more information log on to www.sfindie.com.

History

In 1999 the fest was a 4 day weekend in a single screen theater. 3000 people came. Now we are two weeks in three venues with an attendance of 11,000+.
